If you were alive during the sixties and seventies and were part of the civil rights movement, in what activities would you have wanted to take part? Which of the people would you have liked to have met? Explain your answer.

During the 1960s, there was a group called the Diggers (named after the British movement) that looked at how food was held and used as a tool of oppression and decided to subvert that by planting gardens in public areas.

They were associated with Yippies like Abbie Hoffman and it seems like they had a creative idea and were tangibly making their communities a better place.
