Robbery: it is an offence of stealing something from someone with violence or threatening to use violence.

If someone has been robbed, the thief stole something from the person. This event could have happended in the street.

If someone has been burglarized, the person's house was affected. The thief , or burglar, must have broken into the house using violence.
