The cost C (In dollars) for beads to make bracelets is C=4x+180, where x is the number of bracelets. Each bracelet sells for $35.

  • The cost C (In dollars) for beads to make bracelets is C=4x+180, where x is the number of bracelets. Each bracelet sells for $35.

  • Write an equation for the revenue R in terms of the number of bracelets?

Equation is R=35x

  • About how many bracelets need to be sold for the business to break even?

4x+180=35x

-4x -4x

180=31x

180/31x

x= 5.8064516129

Which can round up to 6. So that would mean,

x=6
