Which of the following is a simile?

A) His head is a bowling ball
B) His head was shiny and round as a bowling ball
C) His head was shinning like a bowling ball on a newly oiled lane

A simile is a comparison using like or as. The full comparison is C. His head was shining like a bowling ball on a newly oiled lane. The only reason it cannot be B is because you are missing the other as for the comparison. B would have to read, "His head was AS shiny and round AS a bowling ball.
