The surface area of given figure = 264 cm²

Explanation:

From the given figure we can see that, a square pyramid mounded on a cube

The side of cube = 6 cm

Base of pyramid is one face of cube.

Slant height of pyramid = 7 cm

Total surface area = (5 * one face of cube ) + (lateral surface area of pyramid)

To find the total surface area

lateral surface area of pyramid = 4 * one face area of pyramid

One face area of cube = side² = 6² = 36

One face area of pyramid = bh/2 = (6 * 7)/2 = 21 cm²

Lateral surface area of pyramid = 4 * 21 = 84 cm²

Surface area = (5 * 36) + (84) = 264 cm²

Therefore surface area of given figure = 264 cm²
