The independent variable is something that can Stan alone or doesn’t change since the water is what you would put on any day on a plant then the one plant given water is the independence variable.
Hope that helps!

Answer:

The independent variable is coca-cola.

Step-by-step explanation:

The experiment shown in the question above wants to assess the influence of coca-cola on plant growth.

As we know every scientific experiment has variables, these variables can be divided between independent and dependent variables. The independent variable is one that does not need the influence of anything to exist, in fact, this variable influences a "result" that will be measured. This result represents the dependent variable, which needs the influence of the independent variable to occur.

In the case of the experiment mentioned above, coca-cola will influence or not the growth of plants, therefore, coca-cola is the independent variable and plant growth is the dependent variable.
