You have read about the United States involvement in Vietnam. In 1982 the Vietnam Veterans Memorial was completed. Its design caused tremendous controversy nationwide, but in the years since its unveiling it has become among the most visited memorials in the nation. Search the internet for the Vietnam Veterans Memorial sites to learn more about the memorial. Then prepare to describe your virtual visit (or real visit if you’ve been there) and your reaction or response to the memorial. What strikes you about it? What atmosphere does it create? Well i know for a fact that it is made out of black marble with 58,000 names on it ranging from KIA to MIA. My enitioal reaction as i waked up to it was " wow all these brave men fought for what they believed was right. they knew the cost of it yet still did it." it creates a atmosphere of sadness because thinking of all those men who sacrificed them self in the name of freedom and they left ther family's behind. i think the design is exilant because u can see every name
