Flowers are the reproductive organ of angiosperms. Pollen grains that contain sperm are transferred to the female part of the flower through pollination. It is called the stamen. It has the anther, pollen, and the filament.

A flower of an angiosperm usually consists of four whorls namely calyx, corolla, androecium and gynoecium.
