How are the settings of the animal shelter and Sofia’s kitchen different

Setting is the time and location of a story. As you read and come to both of these (the shelter and the kitchen), note the descriptions of both. A 'T' chart works best. From there, you can look back and forth at both sides noting the differences. For example, an animal shelter is usually staffed with workers and holds many cages. While kitchens are usually a sterile environment for cooking where animals are not held.
