The answer would be a.) The volume is the product of the area of the base 2x(2x+4) and the height 2x-2

Showed work if needed:

2x(2x-4) × 2x-2 = 4x-8x × 2x-2

= 4x-16x-2

= 4x+(-16x)-2

= -12x-2

=24

Answer:

Option A.

Explanation:

For any rectangular box volume is calculated by

Volume = length × width × height

Since length is given as ( 2x + 4 ), width as ( 2x ) and height as ( 2x - 2) units.

Then volume of the rectangular box will be

Volume = ( 2x + 4 ) ( 2x ) ( 2x - 2 )

Therefore, Option A will be the answer.
