this is a question on a review assignment that i’m stuck on , my summer school teacher said i could get help if i needed. any help would be greatly appreciated

Volume of area in box not filled with cylinder
=3550

I’m not sure which one you need, cylinder or shaded area in box, so…
First find volume of cylinder
V= pi r^2 height
V = (3.14) (5^2) (20)
V= (3.14) (25) (20)
V= 1570

Next find TOTAL volume of box
V= Length x width x height
V= 20 x 16 x 16
V= 5120

Now take box (5120) subtract cylinder (1570)
Volume of box not filled with Cyl (shaded area) = 3550

may be 3549 cube inch while rounded up.
