Find the slope
7-3 divided by -4--2
Slope is -2
substitute point in y=mx+b
7= -2(-4)+b
7=8+b
Move 8 to the other side as a negative number
b is equal to -1
Putting it all together we have y= -2x-1
Therefore, the answer is option a
