Alright to solve the problem

make the equation

y = mx + b

b = y - mx

(5,4) ---> x=5, y=4 and M=-4

b = 4 - (-4)(5) = 4 - (-20) = 4 + 20 = 24

The equation is y = -4x + 2/-3

So that would be the slope of the line.

Hope this helps

Hi there! :)

Explanation:

Slope=(Y_2-Y_1)/(X_2-X_1)=(RISE)/(RUN)

(4-(-2))/((-5)-4)=(6)/(-9)=(6/3)/(-9/3)=(2)/(-3)=-(2)/(3)

Therefore, the slope is -2/3.

\boxed{-(2)/(3) }, is the final answer.

Hope this helps!

Thanks!

Have a nice day! :)
