ANSWER: The numbers are 20 and 19

39-19= 20

20+19= 39

Explanation:

if one of the numbers is 19 more than the other: x+x+19=39

if you simplify you get: 2x+19=39

subtract 19 from both sides and you get: 2x=20

divide by 2 on both sides and you get: x=10

if one of the numbers is 10 and the other number is 19 more than 10 then 10+19=29

and 29+10=39
