You have to do 8 x 10*3 then 4 x 10*6 then subtract to see how many times greater it is.

Explanation:

8 in half is 4, so that is 2

leave the 10 the same, so 4 x 10

3 and 6 3 in common, so 4 x 10*3

Explanation:

In my calc I typed in 8 x 10^-3 divided by 4 x 10^-6

It said 2 x 10^-9

So my calculator says it is the first box
