In the story "Another Night at the Club" it explains arranged marriages and who has the power in thehouse hold. The man marries the women even with her consent but her families arrange it. She is forcedto do what ever the man asks or forces her to do. It was the Egypt culture for this to happen. I believethe women in inda and other third world countries that were apart of arranged marriages cope with itdue to their culture. This is very normal in these countries and it's like a blind date but forever..
