If you consume too much caffeine before puberty (humans usually have plenty of energy before hormones kick in) you might have to deal with major consequences. Some 12–14 year olds have fainted and been rushed to hospitals because they’ve consumed more caffeine than their bodies can tolerate. If you stick to one cup, it’s fine, but please go a day without it just to avoid addiction.

For children older than 12 years, caffeine intake should fall in the range of no more than 85 to 100 milligrams per day. This is equivalent to an 8-ounce cup of home brewedcoffee like Maxwell House. Popular coffee shop versions may exceed this amount of caffeine. It isn't recommended to have kids drink 13 coffee every morning though in my opinion. It can get into some big trouble ;w; though For children aged 4-6 years, the maximum recommended intake is 45 milligrams a day — about as much caffeine as found in a 12-ounce Diet Coke. Caffeine affects the central nervous system as a stimulant. The brains of a child tend to be a little bit more sensitive to caffeine's effects than the brains of adults. So I don't think you should ~w~ I hope this helps though!
