f(-1)=(-1)2-6(-1)+3(-1)-1=3

We can simplify the functon expression:

f(x) = x^2-6x+3x-1 = x^2-3x-1

To evaluate the function at
x=-1 we simply have to plug the desired value in the expression:

f(-1) = (-1)^2-3(-1)-1 = 1+3-1 = 3
