Answer:

volume = 562.5 cm³

Explanation:

5 cm represents 2 parts of the ratio

Divide by 2 to find the value of one part of the ratio

(5)/(2) = 2.5 cm ← 1 part of the ratio

3 parts = 3 × 2.5 = 7.5 cm

6 parts = 6 × 2.5 = 15 cm

Dimensions are length = 15 cm, width = 7.5 cm, height = 5 cm

V = length × width × height = 15 × 7.5 × 5 = 562.5 cm³

Answer:

562.5

Explanation:

What do you have to multiply 2 by to get 5?

2*x = 5 Divide by 2

2x/2 = 5/2 Do the division

x = 2.5

That means that the every member of the ratio has to be multiplied by 2.5

6*2.5 = 15

3*2.5 = 7.5

2*2.5 = 5

So the volume = L * W * H

Volume = 15 * 7.5 * 5

Volume = 562.5
