so according to formula,h squared=b squared+p squared

so,26 squared=10 squared+p squared.

in order to find p

p squared=26 squared -10 squared

which gives us 576

and p squared =576

the square on the p will go on the other side and become an underroot.

take the underoot of 576

which gives us p=24.

so the legnth is 24, found using pythogares theorem.by rearranging the formula and making p the subject in the formula
