Answer:

4).16.3 infinity (unless rounded which is 16.3) for x value

5). *draw the right triangle* and label the base as 12ft and the height as 6ft

6).

A).x<4

B).x≥5

Explanation:

4).

55-6=49

49/3=16.3 infinity

5).

I multiplied the area of the triangle by two to make a square

I divided the area by 4

Which means each side would be 18

we divide this value in half to make it the area of the triangle

This means each side (base and height) are 9

Since the base is twice the size as the height, we divide the sides (18) by 3

We get the result of 6 and with this we multiply the 6 by 2 for the base

meaning 12ft is the base and 6ft is the height

Just to double check: 1/2(12)6=36ft (this is correct)

6).

A). 2x+7<11

-7 -7

2x<4

/2 /2

x<4

B).

8+2x≥18

-8 -8

2x≥10

/2 /2

x≥5

x= 16.3

I took 55 - 6 to get the length of the boxes and got 49. I then divided 49 by 3 to figure out x assuming the boxes are equal since they are all x and x is equal to itself.

A= b×h divided by 2

36= b × h divided by 2

b= 12

h= 6

I used a guess and check to solve. I took numbers times their half and divide that by 2. I did 12 × 6 and got 72 then I divided by 2 to get 36.
