Without having the sentence here, I can only help you to work through each part. Is there a subject? What is the sentence about or who is doing the action? Is there a verb? What is the action of the sentence? For example, The dog ran. You can ONLY have a complete sentence if there is a subject and a verb (or predicate). The dog is the subject, ran is the verb/predicate. Don't forget the imperative sentences, which are commands, and 'you' is the subject. For example, wash the dishes. The verb is wash. Who is doing the washing? You.
