How do you write an equivalent fraction to 12/20​

It's simple! Just find a number you can divide the numerator and denominator by evenly. You can use the number 4 in this fraction.

12(numerator) ÷ 4 = 3

20(denominator) ÷ 4 = 5

So your new fraction is 3/5, since you cannot simplify this fraction anymore, it stays the same. I hope that helped! :)
