Hello!
The answer are:
From solid to gas: Sublimation
Fom solid to liquid: Melting
From liquid to gas: Vaporization
From gas to solid: Deposition
From gas to liquid: Condensation
From liquid to solid: Freezing
Why?
For the our planet, there are three States of Matter: Solid, liquid and gas. There is a fourth matter state found in the space, called Plasma.
There are several processes known as matter states changes where the matter states turn into other due to the environmental conditions, talking about the three states of matter that occurs in our earth, we have:
Sublimation: The process where solid state turns to gas state without passing through the liquid state by the acting of high pressure and temperature.
Melting: The process where solid state turns to liquid state by the acting of high temperatures. For example, ice turning into water due to the temperature rising.
Vaporization: The process where liquid state turns to gas state by the acting of higher temperatures than the melting process.
Deposition: It's the reverse process of sublimation. Deposition is the process where gas state turns to solid state without passing through the liquid process by the acting of low pressures and temperatures. For example, the process where the snow is formed in the clouds.
Condensation: It's the reverse process of vaporization. Vaporization is the process where gas state turns to liquid state by the acting of low temperature and pressure.
Freezing: It's the reverse process of melting. Freezing is the process where liquid state turns to solid state by the acting of lower temperatures than during the condensation process.
Have a nice day!
