In this report of a Nazi officer describing the evacuation of the Warsaw ghetto in 1943, the statement that is best supported by the information in the report is Some Jews fought against the Nazis rather than be sent to concentration camps. More than 400.000 Jews were jammed into the Warsaw ghetto. The Nazis deported most of them to the Treblinka killing center. By 1943 the Nazis returned to the ghetto to deport the remaining 80.000 Jews to labor camps. But, the Jews rose against the SS because they thought they were going to be sent to the killing center.
