HELP NOW! so im trying to figure out what 2 and 1/4 divided by 1/2. So i looked up what it is in fractions, and it gave me the answer of 1.125. THEN, i turned them into decimals (2.25 divided by 1/2) and i got 4.5

OF COURSE 4.5 and 1.125 are NOT equal
so which one is it???

The answer is 4.5. If you correctly use fractions, you’ll get (9/4)/(1/2) which simplified to 4.5
