Explanation:

(2x^(3)+5x^(2)-7x+6)/(x^(2)+3x-4)=2x+(-x^(2)+x+6)/(x^(2)+3x-4)

(-x^(2)+x+6 )/(x^(2)+3x-4)=-1+(4x+2)/(x^(2)+3x-4)

The quotient = 2x - 1 and the remainder = 4x + 2
