Right answer: Magma will solidify slowly to create domes
A lava dome (also called volcanic dome) is a mound with an approximately circular shape that originates in the eruption of viscous lava from a volcano. Being this viscosity of the lava the factor that does not allow it to flow too far before solidifying. This is due to the adhesion property that comes with viscous magma, which then piles up thick around the vent.
In this sense, the domes can reach heights of several hundred meters, and can grow slowly and continuously. These shapes and sizes may vary, as well as their thickness and diameter.
