Islamic architecture has influenced buildings in Shah Jahan in many different ways. First, we can mention the various mosques scattered throughout the kingdom, however, the greatest influences of Islamic architecture were the constructions of the palace fortress, the use of duped dome, the use of recessed arch and rectangular forehead. In addition, the buildings had a well-defined symmetry, with delicate ornaments and an extensive use of white marble.
