In which part of the flower does fertilization take place?

Fertilization takes place in the ovary of a female flower. Wind carries the pollen from the male to the female flower parts. After the pollen lands on the stigma, a tube of pollen forms, and male reproductive material travels down the stem and into the ovary, where it fertilizes an ovule.
