Seventeen-year-old Gina typically makes good decisions and stays out of trouble. Her parents were surprised one night to discover that Gina had snuck out of the house, knowing that if she were caught, she would be grounded and would lose driving privileges and the use of her cell phone. When questioned about her decision to sneak out, Gina told her parents that her best friend was having a hard time, so Gina “had to” go talk to her at 3:00 A.M. Nothing else mattered, she told her parents. Gina seemed to have made her decision to sneak out based on _________ thinking.

Answer:

The correct answer would be an intuitive way. Gina seemed to have made her decision to sneak out based on Intuition

Step-by-step explanation:

When you analyze and evaluate an issue in order to make a decision or judgement, you are thinking critically.

However, in this case, Gina was working on her intuition, thinking more with her 'heart' than her brain. Hence, such decisions are not actually analyzed and the outcomes are not always positives and/or can be difficult to predict.

In this case, Gina's parents did not approve of her actions and are thinking of grounding her.

Gina's intuition failed her this time and landed her in trouble.
