Answer
;
A. basalt; denser
Step-by-step explanation
;
Oceanic crust is denser and darker,it has Fe, Mg. It is thinner than continental crust and consists of denser rock. Regions underlain only by oceanic crust are well below sea level.
Continental crust on the other hand has a composition similar to granite. Thin light gray layer, has the mineral compound Si. Regions with a higher elevation generally have thick crust .
Continental crust is less dense than oceanic crust, though it is considerably thicker; mostly 35 to 40 km compared to the average oceanic thickness of around 7-10 km
