Jerry is a seasoned investor and has a risk taking appetite. He sells these underpriced stocks only when the market value of these stocks rises, thereby making a profit. The market value is defined as the value at which something can be sold in a given market. If the market value of Jerry's stocks rise, then he has a better opportunity to make more money if he sells his stocks. When the value is high, more money is coming in making Jerry in a better place to invest in other stocks as well.
