How is photosynthesis and Cellular Respiration alike?

The end result is glucose, with oxygen being the waste product. The two processes are similar in that they both produce energy, albeit in two different forms. They are different in that photosynthesis assembles the glucose molecule, while cellular respiration takes it apart.

I'm assuming you don't need an extensive list nor very scientific answer, so I'll attempt to list basic information and comparisons. First of all, they both inherently create energy- that is their most basic and fundamental similarity. In addition, they both create and consume the same more or less 4 substances, which include water, carbon dioxide, glucose, and oxygen.
