the 3rd one 3 to the 1st power times 3 to the 7th power because if the base is the same you can add the exponents

answer #3 is correct, 3^1•3^7=3^2•3^5

because 3^1•3^7=3^8 and 3^2•3^5=3^8. they are equal!
