As with an essay, one should always plan out what they are going to write. I suggest looking up the four-square writing process. This will help you to organize your writing. The easiest way to get started on this, is to start with the thesis statement. It should read, "I believe a person can (or cannot) choose to be happy because.....and list the three reasons why you think they can or cannot make that choice. Then the three reasons you have listed will be the topics for your three body paragraphs. End the essay with a conclusion where you restate the thesis statement, summarize what you have written, and DOES NOT include any new information. Tips for the introduction: give some background information, a personal tie-in, and a tie-in with the audience.
