If you decide to support the revolution, you can argue that you do so because of the Enlightenment ideals that you know of, such as life, liberty and freedom. Many of the people who wanted independence justified it by citing these values. Moreover, as you are wealthy and educated, you are likely to be able to participate in the new government, which might also be an incentive.
On the other hand, if you decide not to support independence, you can justify it by discussing your ties to Spain. As you are a creole, you might feel closer to European citizens than to Venezuelan indigenous or mestizo people. Moreover, you might be worried that if the country becomes independent, you might lose your wealth or privileges.
