Let the price of a ton of wheat be = x

So, the price of a fighter plane = 166000x

The government bought 10 fighter planes and 15,000 tons of wheat for a total cost of $344 million.

So, equation becomes:

15000x+166000x(10)=344000000

15000x+1660000x=344000000

1675000x=344000000

x=205.37

Hence, the price of a ton of wheat is $205.37.
