Explanation:

This composite figure consist of two figures.

(1) Rectangle with length = 11 cm and width = 16 cm.

(2) Triangle on the top of the rectangle with base = 11 cm and height = 6 cm.

Area of the rectangle = length × width

= 11 × 16

= 176 cm²

Area of the triangle =
(1)/(2)(base) (height)

=
(1)/(2)(11) (6)

= 33 cm²

Total area = 176 + 33

= 209 cm²
