Why B is your answer is based off the points and the slope. So without having the numbers in the formula, the formula is y-y_1=m(x-x_1).

-3 is m.

2 is x_1.

-6 is y_1.

You then have to put it into the formula so it is y+6 (because of the -6 and -y_1 it will equal a positive.)

So y+6=-3(x-2).
