Answer;
Chlorophyll
Explanation;
Photosynthesis is the process by which green plants make their own food, using energy from the sun together with carbon dioxide and water.
Chlorophyll is a green pigment that is vital for photosynthesis, as they allow plants to absorb energy from sunlight.
Chlorophyll is found in the chloroplasts of plants, it is required by plants to convert carbon dioxide and water, using sunlight, into oxygen and glucose.
Photolysis which occurs in the light dependent stage of photosynthesis uses light energy to split water molecules and produce oxygen. In these light-dependent reactions, light energy is absorbed by chlorophyll and other pigments and transferred to the reaction center of photosystem II
