if the average of the 10 numbers is -10, that means the sum will be -10*10 or -100.

the sum of 6 numbers is 100

Then the sum of the 4 numbers would be (-100-100) or -200

From that we count the average to be -200/4 or -50

(x+y)/(10)=-10 -----> equation A


x=100

substitute the value of x in the equation A


(100+y)/(10)=-10


(100)/(10)+(y)/(10)=-10


10+(y)/(10)=-10


(y)/(10)=-10-10


(y)/(10)=-20


y=-20*10=-200
