2/3 but even though that's not the correct answer it still equivalent to 4/6

Answer:

Monty can find an equivalent fraction greater than 6 by multiplying a factor to each part of the fraction. However, in this case that's not possible because that's a proper fraction which meas the result will be always less than zero, no matter which equivalent fraction you find, it will always be a proper fraction.

On the other hand, we can find an equivalent fraction with a denominator less than 6. If we simplify the fraction, we can find it


(4)/(6)=(4 / 2)/(6 / 2) =(2)/(3)

Therefore, 2/3 is an equivalent fraction with a denominator less than 6.
