can someone explain how 1/4 × 900/1 is equal to 225, my mom is asking for an explanation and I used a calculator help me ​

four of 225 makes 900/1, or 900. So, one 225 should be one of the four 225s that equal 900. 1/4 × 1/900, or 1/4 of 900, should be 225.
