I NEED SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY KNOWS WHAT THEY’RE DOING TO ANSWER THIS QUESTION.—-

Michelle has a recipe that calls for 2 1/2 cups of vegetable oil. She wants to use 2/3 of that amount of oil and use applesauce to replace the rest. How much vegetable oil will she use?

Answer:

This is a multiplication problem.

2 1/2 * 2/3 = 5/2 * 2/3 = 10/6 or 5/3

She will use 10/6 or 1 2/3 cups of vegetable oil (or applesauce)

Hope this helps, let me know if it's wrong!
