A company policy requires that, for every 60 employees, there must be 3 supervisors. If there are 270 supervisors at the company, how many employees does the company have?

Answer:

5400 because if you do 270/3 then multiply the answer by 60 you get 5400

5400 employees

60÷3=20 because you want to find how many employees per supervisor.

270×20=5400 because you want to find how many employees there are and there are 20 employees/ supervisor.
