According to this excerpt from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s Letter from Birmingham Jail, it is clear that King advocates the use of non-violent civil disobedience as a method of protest against racial injustice. Note that King calls for the reader to "let him march; let him make prayer pilgrimages to the city hall; let him go on freedom rides–and try to understand why he must do so."

The answer is A. King believed non-violent civil protests from the oppressed and that was the only was to get rid of oppression.
