~I need the method~

If the side length of any equilateral triangle is increase by 7% then the area will be change in which percent? How do we do this type of maths?​

The bottom equation states that:

Triangle Area = side^2 * (sqr root 3) / 4 or

Triangle Area = side^2 * .4330127..

So, we'll say the side originally equaled 1 and the new length is 7% longer ot it equals 1 + .07 or 1.07

Looking at the formula:

Triangle Area = 1.07^2 * .4330127...

the .4330127 doesn't change but the side increases to 1.07

and the change in area is 1.07^2 or 1.1449 times larger.

So, the area is 14.49% larger.
