Greenhouse effect - compounds that are able to trap heat in the atmosphere, resulting in keeping the earth's surface warm. This has a heavy affect on global warming, also known as climate change. Greenhouse gases let out into the atmosphere increase the greenhouse effect.

Carbon dioxide is also released from living things through respiration and burning fossil fuels. Ex1: burning releases fossil fuels. Ex2: Motor vehicles expel fossil fuels and pollution. Ex3: plants and animals exale carbon dioxide and inhale oxygen.

i hope this helps u!
