first you write what the vectors are, then you subtract z from w by subtracting their corresponding values <-4-3,1-4>= <-7,-3>, then to get subtracting the next answer you subtract w from z which is <3--4,4-1> = <7,3>

Answer:

\large\boxed{\vec{w}-\vec{z}=<-7,\ -3>}\\\boxed{\vec{v}-\vec{w}=<7,\ 3>}

Explanation:

\vec{a}=<x_1,\ y_1>,\ \vec{b}=<x_2,\ y_2>\\\\\vec{a}-\vec{b}=<x_1-x_2,\ y_1-y_2>

\vec{w}=<-4,\ 1>\\\\\vec{z}=<3,\ 4>\\\\\vec{w}-\vec{z}=<-4-3,\ 1-4>=<-7,\ -3>\\\\\vec{z}-\vec{w}=<3-(-4),\ 4-1>=<7,\ 3>\\\\\\\text{You could use}\\\\\vec{z}-\vec{w}=-(\vec{w}-\vec{z})=-<-7,\ -3>=<-(-7),\ -(-3)>=<7,\ 3>
